De toutes les entreprises forestières que j’ai visitées au Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, en Mauricie ou dans l’Outaouais, Chantiers Chibougamau aurait normalement dû être la plus durement touchée par la crise. Scierie indépendante, située en forêt boréale bien au nord du lac Saint-Jean, Chantiers Chibougamau a pourtant traversé la tempête de belle façon, en perçant de nouveaux marchés, en agrandissant ses installations et en investissant à fond dans la troisième transformation.
