Lumber
From the timber harvested, Chantiers Chibougamau produces and oversees the distribution of two types of products: lumber for vertical use and lumber for horizontal use. Some 55% of Chantiers Chibougamau’s production is composed of solid 2 x 4 in. studs and SPS 3 finger-jointed 2 x 4 in. studs, each 9 ft in length—the dimensions our customers prefer. Solid studs account for 92% of our overall vertical use products.
